Wednesday's Week

Hello friends!

Starting today is a new weekly blog post, which will just be to catch up on what I've been up to and what I've been working on - I shall dub thee 'Wednesday's Week!' (Can you tell I lacked some inspiration for a good name here...? Any better Suggestions, please (PLEASE!)  leave them in the comments :D).

I seriously cannot believe that February is almost over. All the days and weeks are just rolling into one lately. January was pretty incredible. We had out best month yet for sales. We made in January half of what we made in the entirety of 2015...that's pretty amazing. But that also made it crazy busy! I don't know why it went so mental. I think it might be because our Marie Antoinette Collection was released at the start of the month. I guess professional shots of your items really does make a big difference.

Speaking of the Marie Antoinette Collection, it has been very popular so far. We've sold out of the Satin and Tulle high-waisted knickers already. Gutted about that, I wanted a pair! Also a few of the images of that collection have been quite popular on Tumblr. I wish I understood Tumblr, but I just don't get it.

We have been lucky enough to have been featured on two lingerie blogs too. Sweet Nothings NYC featured our pink satin Marie Antoinette set in a post about the Panatone colours of the year, you can see it here. Also, Amber from Scarlet's Letter did a review of our Steele and Something Blue bridal knickers,, which you can see here. I find it absolutely crazy that bloggers in America are noticing our little brand, and I seem to be pinching myself a lot lately. I am very proud.

So as well as keeping up with orders, I've also got quite a few new ideas floating around in my head. A new bridal range, an 'everyday' range and also swimwear. I really want to get on with sampling my new ideas, but the influx of orders has kept me occupied. It's very difficult to find the time to do everything that I want to, especially as the only time I get to work is when the children are in bed in the evenings. But, I will find a way! I was actually toying with the idea of doing a kickstarter campaign, which would maybe be able to fund Mum taking some time off work to work on the new collections, but I don't know if that would be a plausible idea or not. I shall ponder it some more...

Me and Mum are taking a trip to London next weekend to go fabric shopping and get some inspiration, so that's something to look forward to.

In family life, thing's are good! Rori is 10 months now and is almost walking. Logan is a clever as always. For Christmas, Mum and Dad got us all a family National Trust pass, so we can make sure we have at least one family day out together per month at an awesome location. February's one is this weekend. We are then going to pick up our new quails! Looking forward to some fresh eggs :D

I've started practicing Yoga (when I can find the time to fit it in!) and I am already in love with it. I brought a spiraliser out of my birthday money, and am super excited to use it. Oh yeah, It was my birthday at the start of February. 25! Ahhhh! I feel old! Rich suprised me and took the day off work, whisked me off to London for a day of Italian lunches and watching Wicked at the Apollo theatre, which was awesome!

Oh, and we also booked a holiday! We are going to Spain in the summer to visit my brother and sister-in-law and also my Grandparents and Rich's family. I can't wait for some sun!

So like I said, it's been pretty busy! What have you all been up to?
