Wednesday's Week

Hello, friends!

Seriously, where are the days GOING?! They're slipping away quicker than I can grasp them.

It's not been the most exciting week, but I'll update you all anyway,'s my party and I'll cry if I want to?

So orders have been trickling in nicely. This is good. The 30% off thing we did for International Woman's Day went well, so we're working through our orders for the Savannah and Felix bits from that, and I guess it must be wedding season as we've been getting a lot of orders for bridal knickers.

Speaking of bridal knickers - bridal is one area we want to expand and is on our ever-growing list of things-to-do. We've sketched out the designs and ideas, and we CANNOT WAIT to make up some samples, but we need to wait for some time and some funds to put into this little venture.

One thing that's tough with having your own business is having ALL the ideas and wanting to do them all now, or like, yesterday. We have some big plans of how we want Lucky to grow and what direction we want to go in and we're so PUMPED to sew up ALL the samples and make ALL the lingeries. I'm quite an impatient person by nature and once I get my mind set on something I just want to do it, so I am finding it a bit frustrating to have to wait!

I've been not only sewing knickers and bras, I've done quite a bit of other sewing too. I mentioned in this blog post about my purchase of three sewing pattern from Puperita on Etsy. I finally got around to using some of them! I sewed up Logan a Jumpy romper which is made from a black galaxy print fabric(which Logan loves) and has a red lining and vintage buttons from my button tin. Logan has since made me buy some Paw Patrol fabric to make him another romper from. He is OBSESSED with Paw Patrol! I sewed something for Rori too - a Hearts Hoodie with lemon fleece lining so it'll be nice and warm when she's in the baby carrier. I also started to sew her a jumpy romper too, but it's not finished quite yet.

At the weekend we had Logan and Rori's first ever birthday party invite, which they had a great time at. I can't believe it's going to be Rori's first birthday next month! STOP, TIME!

  1. Logan looks so cool in his romper, I think you should definitely scale it up so me and him can have matching paw patrol rompers! XD
